Village of Romeoville
The Village of Romeoville does hereby invite proposals for the
installation of a new Phone System.
Those desiring to respond may request RFP documents by emailing rfp_response@romeoville.org or from our website at www.romeoville.org

Responses will be received at: The Village of Romeoville 13
Montrose Drive, Romeoville IL 60446 until 5:00 p.m. local time
on December 1 st, 2009. Proposals will be reviewed on
December 3rd, 2009. Responses must be labeled, ATTENTION:
Village of Romeoville and marked on the outside “Phone
Proposal”. No oral, telephone, telegraph, telefax proposals or modification will be allowed. No proposals will be received after the
due dates and times. Proposals must be submitted per instructions in RFP documents.

The Village of Romeoville reserves the right to reject any and all
proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical
errors or omissions in proposals. Award of Contract will be made
to lowest responsible proposal, considering terms of delivery, quality, serviceability and conformity with specifications, as determined by the Village of Romeoville Board of Trustees.

3-1-1 Resident Response System

311 CSCCThe Village of Romeoville is proud to announce the implementation of the new 3-1-1 customer service calling center. The new 3-1-1 system will enable residents to report non-emergency matters. The system gives local government the ability to respond to residents’ requests in a more systematic fashion and to use the data gathered for planning purposes. The 3-1-1 service will compliment the e-Government website service which provides an easy way for residents and businesses to make suggestions, request information, and/or request action online. If residents are unable to find an appropriate service request category on our website or have difficulty entering a request, they should contact 3-1-1. Our guest service staff will be happy to assist the residents in a professional manner. Residents with emergencies should still call 9-1-1. (Note: Cell phone users will not be able to use this service at this time.)

U.S. Census 2010

RecCenterIn these tough economic times you might need extra income or know someone who does. The U.S. census bureau started this month to interview, test and hire census takers. Most of the work will take place in the first half of 2010.
