Taylor Road Lane Closures
Taylor Rd will be limited to one lane of traffic in each direction from Rt 53 to Southcreek Parkway beginning Monday, May 6th. Please expect delays in this area-there will be no designated turns lanes for traffic leading back onto Rt 53.
Fire Hydrant Flushing
Flushing on the east side of Weber Road will be Monday, May 6th through Friday, May 24th. The flushing will be done Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.Click here for more details.
Ray Pahl Field Dedication

Ray Pahl was a volunteer coach and mentor for many kids of Romeoville. Ray coached baseball, basketball and was an active member of the Hampton Park Social Athletic Club. Ray was a graduate of Romeoville High School where he participated in football, baseball, and other athletics. Ray loved coaching children; he wanted to see the athletes of Romeoville succeed. The Recreation Department invites you to help preserve his legacy at the dedication of Century Park’s baseball diamond #1.
Arbor Day Tree Sale
Celebrate Arbor Day with the Village of Romeoville’s Spring Tree Sale. Romeoville residents can select from a large variety of trees and shrubs. Tree orders and payments are due by May 24th. Click here to view and select from the trees and shrubs being offered.
Village Text Message Alerts
The Village of Romeoville is excited to announce a new communication service that allows residents to receive valuable community information through text messaging. Messages may include emergency weather notifications, traffic updates as well as other relevant safety and community event information.
The service is provided by Nixle and is secure. When citizens receive information from our agency via Nixle, they know it can be trusted. Subscribers can also choose the way in which alerts are received, whether it is by email, text message or over the web.
Residents can immediately begin receiving pertinent information via text message, email and web by registering here or by texting VORINFO to 888777.
