Today, you will see the newly developed Uptown Square. The new brand mark for Uptown Square is intended to represent the spirit of this new community place. Two brightly colored rectangles come together to form a square. In the upper left corner, three colorful squares also intermingle with one another in an active way.
Together, these forms represent the transformation you see today, which is an area that has been transformed from what was once a blighted area to one that:
A place where the community can come together
Attracts new businesses
Attracts people from all over the region
Creates opportunities for future development
Encourages redevelopment of existing businesses
Provides additional space for community events
Provides attractive streetscapes
Variety of activities
