Golden age club

     This group meets every Thursday at the Romeoville Recreation Center from noon to 4:00pm. Transportation is available by calling a minimum of 48 hours beforehand. Members must be 55 years young to join — stop by Thursday for our meeting. Join us and make some new friends! Any member of the Golden Age Club will receive a $2 discount off non-contractual trips. Must show badge to receive discount.  
 

tuesday NICKEL RAFFLe MANIA

     From 10:00am-1:00pm bring your change and your friends to enjoy this fabulous new game! Must be 18 years or older to participate. Coffee will be served.

Wednesday drop in day


Join active adults for dominoes, cards, and board games with conversation. Please bring a dish to pass.

Case of the Monday’s Lunch Break — Mondays (11:00am - 1:30pm) 
Age: 50 and older Fee: $7/R - $9/NR  Min/Max: 6/12
Take a break from your hectic life and join us as we try a new restaurant every month! This season we will be traveling to Naperville to enjoy restaurants. Come out with your friends, meet new friends, try new food, and enjoy the start of your week! The fee is for transportation only - lunch is on your own.

The Day They Shot John Lennon — Sunday, October 2 (1:30pm - 6:00pm) 
Age: 50 and older Fee: $15/R - $20/NR  Min/Max: 6/12
Join us to see The Day They Shot John Lennon at the Philip Lynch Theatre at Lewis University. The play takes place in front of the Manhattan apartment building where John Lennon was shot. This play is about the New Yorkers who assembled that day to pay tribute to their idol. Fee includes transportation and ticket.

Inspecting Carol — Sunday, November 20 (1:30pm - 6:00pm) 
Age: 50 and older Fee: $15/R - $20/NR  Min/Max: 6/12
Join us to see Inspecting Carol at the Philip Lynch Theatre at Lewis University. The play is about a struggling theatre preparing a production of A Christmas Carol amid the threat of the funding being cut from the National Endowment for the Arts. Fee includes transportation and ticket.

Pack the Place Bingo — Friday, November 18 (9:00am) 
Age: 18 and older   Fee: $10/R - $10/NR  Min/Max: 6/50
Join us at Prairie Bluff Golf Club banquet facility for the 2nd Annual Pack the Place Bingo. A delicious breakfast will begin our event. Everyone will get 3 Bingo cards for the fee, play 50¢ per card per game, and 25¢ per card for the last game (a coverall). Includes a Split the Pot and door prizes.

Lunch & a Movie — Fridays (12:00pm - 3:00pm) September 30 & December 16
Age: 50 and older   Fee: $7/R - $9/NR  Min/Max: 4/50
Bring your friends or make new ones with this great program. The Recreation Department will provide a boxed lunch from a local restaurant and refreshments prior to the movie.

Fall German-Themed Senior Party (12:30pm) 
Age: 21 and older   Fee: $28/R - $28/NR  Min/Max: 6/50
This event at Prairie Bluff Golf Club will feature the DieMusikmeisters German Band, a delicious German lunch, and a complimentary pitcher of German beer on each table. Door prizes are included.
