The Romeoville Tumbleweeds competitive gymnastics team started their new season in June of 2016. For the 2016-2017 year, they will be competing in the Amateur Athletic Union of the United States, Inc. (AAU). This is an exciting change for the program and we wish them the best on their upcoming competitive season.
The Romeoville Recreation Department’s gymnastics program is set-up to follow progressions starting with preschool aged children. The program has skills progression set in place to allow for proper advancement through all classes leading up to the competitive team. The competitive team tryouts are held once a year. The next tryouts will be held in July 2017.
