Good news was announced today: Will County has reached the threshold to move out of the enhanced mitigation restrictions that have been imposed on Region 7 for the last several weeks. We can now return to Phase 4 guidelines at 5 p.m. on 9/18. This means restaurants and bars can reopen for indoor dining and gatherings can include up to 50 people. If the region’s COVID-19 positivity rate returns to 8% or higher for three consecutive days, mitigation measure will be reenacted. Please help prevent this by wearing a mask, washing your hands, and following social distancing guidelines.
