The Romeoville Fire Department is offering this free 10-week program to residents, from May 18-July 20, 2016 every Wed. from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Register by Friday, May 6, 2016. This is the second year for the program.

Being a Firefighter is not just about dousing flames.Get an inside view of the Romeoville Fire Department by learning about the services offered, while increasing your fire and safety awareness during the free 10-week Citizen’s Fire Academy. Applicants must be 18 years of age.

Academy Topics Include:

• Fire Behavior • Fire Service Tools & Equipment
• EMS Overview • Auto Extrication
• Day in the training tower! • CPR (Will be certified by AHA)
• And Much More!

The first class begins on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 and meets every Wednesday for 10 weeks from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Fire Station #3, 698 N. Birch. Applications are available at Fire Station #3, 698 N. Birch; Village Hall, 1050 W. Romeo Rd. and by clicking here.
