Parts of Romeoville now have a new State Representative. Will County Assistant State’s Attorney John Connor will fill the seat vacated by Emily McAsey (District 85), who resigned June 2. McAsey will be accompanying her husband, who is leaving the state for a new job. Connor will join Natalie Manley (District 98) in representing the citizens of Romeoville in Springfield.
“We would like to thank representative McAsey for her hard work and dedication to the residents of Romeoville,” said Mayor Noak. “We look forward to working with representative Connor.”
