Fit 4 Life Fitness Center to Replace 16-Year-Old Flooring

The Village of Romeoville Parks and Recreation Department’s Fit 4 Life Fitness Center will be introducing new sports flooring at the beginning of May. The company contracted to install the flooring has completed projects for the annual March Madness tournaments, the National Collegiate Athletic Association and various recreation centers, universities, and high schools. Due to the installation, the Fit 4 Life Fitness Center will be closed from April 30^th through May 8^th.

“It is past time to get rid of the existing carpet and mats that are 16-years old for a product that will serve our guests for a better athletic purpose,” stated Kelly Rajzer, Director of Parks & Recreation. The Recreation Department apologizes for the inconvenience and is offering current members a $5 credit on their next month’s fees and monthly or annual members will get a week extension added to their current membership. Group fitness classes will still be running during this installation period. Fit 4 Life members can fill out a form at the front desk to redeem the $5 credit before Friday, May 25th. Credit does not apply to missing payments or cancellation fees; members must not have outstanding balances due to the Recreation Department.
