Romeoville Tumbleweeds Home Meet Was Exceptional for the Home Team

The Romeoville Tumbleweeds competitive gymnastics team competed in their Beach Party home meet this past weekend. The team had 21 girls compete against the other 140 gymnasts that attended from seven other teams. All of the Tumbleweeds gymnasts had an outstanding meet.

Arianna Lazcano took 3rd all around (level 2), Daneila Fajardo took 2nd all around (level 2), Julienne Tutaan took 1st place all around (level 2). Refelyn Gratace took 1st place all around (level 3), Madisyn Saddler took 4th place all around and 2nd place on Beam (level 3). Julia Ham won 1st place all around (level 4), Sancia Perakatt took 2nd place all around (level 4), Klara Karam took 3rd place all around (level 4), Emily Pachciarz took 3rd place all around (level 4), Jessica Joy took 1st on Beam and 4th all around (level 4), and Abigail Roppolo took 1st all around (level 4). Ashley Roppolo took 1st all around (level 5), Deja Ray took 2nd all around (level 5), Arely Arreaga took 4th all around (level 5), and Kendall Battle took 2nd place all around (level 5). The optional girls did incredible as well; Nia Crowder taking 1st all around (level 6), Gaby Tetti taking 3rd all around (level 6) and Alejandra Rivas taking 1st place all around (level 6). And last, but certainly not least, Maddy Sisto represented the level 7s, taking 1st place on bars and 3rd place all around.

The Tumbleweeds team is more than half way through the season and continuing to impress! The next meet they attend will be in Naperville on April 14th.
