BUILDING INFORMATION
The building inspections division ensures that all new construction and private improvements are in compliance with the buildings codes utilized by the Village of Romeoville. This department also coordinates building permits and on-site inspections of all new residential, commercial, and industrial construction within the community.
PLANNING AND ZONING
The planning and zoning division applies the best interest of the Village of Romeoville into community development through the use of the Comprehensive Plan and the Zoning Ordinance. It manages the development process from the initial submission of a project through the final Village approval, while working in conjunction with the developers and/or property owners.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
