Frequently Asked Questions
You can find your polling place location in any of the following ways:
- On-Line Voter Status/Polling Place Inquiry: You can use your last name, date of birth, and last four digits of your social security number to search on-line for the address and picture of your polling place by clicking on the following link: "Click here" for the On-Line Voter Status/Polling Place Inquiry
- Voter Registration Card: You can find your polling place by Township and Precinct number by checking your voter-registration card (latest card issued is red, white, and blue). Above your name and address is your Township and Precinct number. The polling place for your address is also listed on the card.
Early/Absentee Voting will be available at the Village Hall Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. October 14, 2008 – October 30, 2008.
You may register to vote if you are:
- A U.S. Citizen and,
- 18 years of age by the date of the next election and,
- A resident of your Will County precinct address for 30 days immediately prior to the next election.
Two forms of identification are required to register through a deputy registrar:
- at least one of the two forms must show your name and current address,
- only one form of identification may be a piece of mail addressed and delivered to you.
The second form must show your name. These forms of identification shall include, but not be limited to:

When is the last day to register?
The last day to register to vote for the November 4th General Election is Tuesday, October 7th.
You can register to vote at the Village Hall Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 pm.

April 7, 2009 Consolidated Election
Petitions for the April 7, 2009 Consolidated Election for the positions of Mayor, Trustee (3 Four Year Term Positions and 1 Two Year Term Position) and Village Clerk will be available Tuesday, October 28, 2009 at the Village Hall, Front Desk, 13 Montrose Drive, Romeoville, Illinois.
The first day to file petitions is January 20, 2009. The last day to file petitions is January 26, 2009. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
