Department Dispatching Center

The Romeoville Fire Department is part of the Will County 9-1-1 system. When you call 9-1-1 in Romeoville, the call is answered at our Public Service Answering Point (PSAP) located in the Police Department Communications Center. In 2010, the Village opened its new Police Department and a brand new state of the art communications center and began handling dispatching for the Romeoville Fire Department for the first time in its history. The center handles all emergency calls for service, monitors fire alarm systems within the village, and utilizes the Will County Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) software to dispatch units to incidents. The center is staffed by highly trained professionals 24/7 and is a vital link in providing emergency services to the citizens of Romeoville.
