Community Challenge
Sunday, January 11, 2015, 1-4 p.m.

The Recreation Department invites you out to our first Community Challenge. You will be grouped by what area of town you live in - we will have exciting activities for everyone to participate in and receive team points. The area with the most points at the end of the event wins bragging rights & will be named Romeoville’s Community Challenge Champions. 1. DRESS TO PLAY; some activities may require light physical activity, so please keep comfort in mind. This event is for all ages, so BRING YOUR FRIENDS & FAMILY! 2. CHECK IN BY 1:30PM. We will give you full instructions for all the FUN! 3. TAKE ON THE CHALLENGES. Explore the Recreation Center, play games and other activities and view demonstrations to COLLECT POINTS. 4. TURN IN YOUR POINTS BY 3:15. While we tally the team points, check out the entertainment and community organization booths. 5. ARE YOU A CHAMPION? Daddy Daughter Ball

It’s your chance to get all dressed up girls! Dads, bring your daughter(s) out for a special night of fun! At the ball you will enjoy dinner, drinks, cookies, and dancing the night away! Your daughter(s) will also make a special Valentine’s Day craft to bring home. Capture this special night with a picture of you and your daughter(s) taken at the ball. Register by: 1/18 for ages 3 to 10 years - Daddy-Daughter Couple $27/R - $41/NR and additional daughter $12/R - $18/NR.

Stop in to check out the container of jelly beans. Leave your information with your guess of how many beans are in the container. You could win a prize!

Springtide Craft Show
Saturday, March 21, 2015, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

FREE ADMISSION & PARKING! Shop ‘til you drop! There will be 100 booths including, hand crafts, candles, jewelry, crochet, embroidery, floral arrangements, stamped items, pet accessories, hair bows, Tastefully Simple, Party Lite, Pampered Chef and much more. Admission and parking are free. Come early and have breakfast at the Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast or stop by the Golden Age Club’s bake sale or the Snack Shack concession stand.

Pizza with Peter Rabbit

Join Peter and his sister Cotton-Tail in preparing for the spring holida! Activities include inflatables, a puppet show, craft area and more! Each registered child will receive a slice of pizza, a drink, picture with a bunny, and a craft. Register by: 3/15 Ages 13 and up are $5/R - $7/NR and 12 and under $9/R - $13/NR. Child must be accompanied by a paid adult. Glow-in-the-dark Egg Hunt to follow for kids age 12 and under! Hunt starts at 8:15PM sharp! Don’t forget to dress for the weather; the FREE egg hunt is held outside!

Community Garage Sale

The publication of homes will be available to pick up at the Recreation Center and Village Hall beginning Tuesday, May 12. Please return the registration form no later than Friday, May 1.

This is a night of fun, fascination and trivia! Teams of four, aged 21-years or over participate in a trivia-style competition where teams compete for the coveted Romeoville’s Smartest Cup. Proceeds to benefit the Youth Outreach Commission Scholarship Fund.

Route 66 Car Show

Whether you own a car, you are a car enthusiast, or you are simply just looking for a day out on the town, this is one event you cannot miss! This event has fun that is sure to appeal to all ages!
