Guess the Number of Jelly Beans Contest
Stop in to the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road and check out the container of jelly beans from Tuesday, April 1st through Saturday, April 19th. Leave your information with your guess of how many beans are in the container. You could win a prize!

T-Ball/Softball Opening Day Parade
Celebrate the opening day for all teams in the T-ball and Girls’ Softball programs at our annual parade. The parade will take place on Saturday, May 3rd starting at 9 a.m. at Sunset Park, located at the corner of Murphy Drive and Belmont Avenue.

Community Garage Sale
Be a part of the Community Garage Sale on Saturday, May 17th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register with the Romeoville Recreation Department to be included in a publication of homes participating in the Garage Sale. The publication of homes will be available to pick up at the Recreation Center and Village Hall beginning Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Please return the registration form no later than Friday, May 2, 2014.

Romeoville’s Smartest
Friday, May 16th will be a night of fun, fascination and trivia! Come out to Brunswick Zone, 735 Center Blvd., Romeoville from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Teams of four, aged 21-years or over participate in a trivia-style competition where teams compete for the coveted Romeoville’s Smartest Cup. Proceeds to benefit the Youth Outreach Commission Scholarship Fund. Click here for more details.

Celebrate and honor the veterans at the Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26th at 10 a.m. at the Edward "Doc" McCartan Veteran's Memorial, 11 Montrose Dr.

Route 66 Car Show
Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines because the show’s about to begin. That’s right, it’s time for the Route 66 Car Show. Whether you own a car, you are a car enthusiast, or you are simply just looking for a day out on the town, this is one event you cannot miss, so come on out to Romeoville High School, 100 N. Independence Blvd. on Sunday, June 8th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event has fun that is sure to appeal to all ages! There are many classes of vehicles being show such as classic, customs, antique, muscle, motorcycles, and Jeeps. Interested in entering you vehicle in the show? Bring the family to Deer Crossing Park, 1050 W. Romeo Road for a movie under the stars! Movie Under the Stars is a free event that features a themed movie each month. Pre-movie activities begin at 8:00pm and the movies start at dusk. Click here for more details.

Rockin’ the Ville – Elevation (U2 Tribute Band)

Kids’ Dip & Dash
Come join the fun in our inaugural Dip and Dash for Kids at Heritage Falls Pool, 101 Troxel on Saturday, June 28th from 8 a.m. to Noon. Participants will compete in a swim and run competition with distances that are age appropriate. This event is a great way to get kids to try non-traditional sports.
