Park Party - "To Infinity & Beyond"
Join us at Independence Park, 1730 W Raleigh Tr. for an out-of-this-world experience! This extra terrestrial evening includes activites such as: Capture the Alien contest, a Buzz Lightyear Pinata, DJ, inflatables and snacks on Tuesday, July 22nd from 6-8 p.m. Park parties are a free and fun way to connect with nature and your neighborhood. RomeoFest – 4 Days of Fun, 8/7 - 8/10 located at 900 W. Romeo Road and 1050 W. Romeo Road.

Movie Under the Stars featuring One Direction
Bring the family to Deer Crossing Park, 1050 W. Romeo Road for a movie under the stars on Friday, August 15th. Movie Under the Stars is a free event that includes pre-movie activities at 8:00 p.m. and the movies start at dusk. Rain date August 17th.

Rockin’ the Ville – American English
Celebrate 50 years of Beatles music with American English at Deer Crossing Park, 1050 W. Romeo Road on Thursday, August 21st from 7 to 9 p.m.

Community Day of Play
Join the Romeoville Recreation Department and the Friendship Center at Highpointfor the Community Day of Play on Saturday, Sept. 6th from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Boucher Prairie Park, 1649 Richfield St. in Romeoville. Activities include inflatables, Sling Shot Fun, Hockey shootout & much more!

Fall Community Garage Sale
Time to clean out the attic, basement and garage and participate in the community garage sale on Saturday, September 6th,  8:00am-4:00pm. Register with the Romeoville Recreation Department to be included in a publication of homes participating in the Garage Sale. Contact 815.886.6222 for more information.

Founder’s Day Parade
Show your Romeoville pride at the annual Founder’s Day Parade on Sunday, September 21st at 2:00 p.m. Whether you are watching or participating, you are sure to have a great time. All community organizations, clubs, and businesses are encouraged to participate.  Show your spirit by decorating your floats/entries around the Big Top Circus theme. Entry line up is at 1:00 p.m. Parade begins at Newland and Belmont and ends in downtown Romeoville.  For more information, contact the Romeoville Recreation Department at (815) 886-6222.

Glow-N-Go 5k
The Glow-N-Go 5K Walk/Run is a one-of-a-kind night-time event that is about enjoying the experience with your friends and family. Participants of all different speeds, ages, shapes, and sizes are welcome and encouraged to be ready to GLOW! From casual walker to an avid runner, the Glow-N-Go 5K invites you to come be a part of the fun on Friday, October 3rd at 7 p.m. For more information, contact the Romeoville Recreation Department at (815) 886-6222.

Autumn Colors Craft Show
FREE ADMISSION & PARKING! Shop ‘til you drop on Saturday, October 4th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road. There will be 100 booths including, hand crafts, candles, jewelry, crochet, embroidery, floral arrangements, stamped items, pet accessories, hair bows, Tastefully Simple, Party Lite, Pampered Chef and much more.  Come early and have breakfast at the Razzler’s Dance Team Pancake Breakfast or stop by the Girl Scout bake sale or the Snack Shack concession stand.

Halloween Fest
Join the Romeoville Recreation Department and the Romeoville Chamber of Commerce for a SPOOKTACULAR good time on Friday, October 24th from 6 to 9 p.m. at Village Park, 900 W. Romeo Road. Stop by the candy corn pumpkin patch, trick or treat alien pods, the chilling craft area and the haunted hayride. This is a free event for Romeoville residents.

Veteran’s Day Service
Celebrate and honor the Veteran’s at the Veteran’s Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11th at 10 a.m. at Edward "Doc" McCartan Veteran's Memorial, Montrose Drive and Route 53.

December

Winter Wonderland & Tree Lighting Ceremony
Join us for another year of celebrating the holidays with activities, pictures with Santa, crafts, and more on Friday, December 5th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Romeoville Recreation Department, 900 W. Romeo Road.

Sports Cards & Collectibles Show
Collecting sports cards is a fun hobby! Come stop by the Romeoville Recreation Department on Saturday, December 13th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to check out our spring sports card show. Admission & parking is free!
