Volunteering at the Romeoville Recreation Department
The Romeoville Recreation Department depends on volunteers to organize special events, coach youth athletics and serve on committees. Volunteering is a pleasant and rewarding experience which enables you to not only improve your quality of life but others’ as well. Please take the time to read this and help us to help others.
The Romeoville Recreation Department will provide you with the necessary training to succeed as a volunteer.
Each volunteer must complete a volunteer application and criminal background check.

Employment Opportunities
The Romeoville Recreation Department always accepts employment applications even when there are no current positions available. Positions vary by month/season, so call the Recreation Department at (815) 886-6222 for an updated list or for more information.

Summer Hours- Please note: Saturdays and Sundays beginning Saturday, June 5th through Sunday, September 5th the Recreation Center and Fit 4 Life Fitness Center will close at 5:00pm. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Both the Recreation Center and Fit 4 Life Fitness Center will also close early during the week of RomeoFest: Monday, August 2nd through Wednesday, August 4th the building will close at 6:00pm; Thursday, August 5th and Friday, August 6th the building will close at 5:00pm; Saturday, August 7th and Sunday, August 8th the building will close at 12:00pm.
