Citizens Police Academy

The Romeoville Police Department sponsors two Citizen Police Academy classes per year. One class in the Spring and one class in the Fall. Each class runs 12 weeks and is held at the Police Department one night per week. The Citizens Police Academy classes instruct attendees on various law enforcement topics including criminal law, traffic stops and enforcement, and many other areas.
