PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCHER
The Village of Romeoville is accepting applications for the position of a part-time Public Safety Dispatcher. Training for this position is 40 hours a week for 16 weeks working all three shifts. Once training is completed you will then work part-time which is 16 hours per week. This position is responsible for dispatching police, fire and emergency medical services. Must have proficient computer skills and typing skills. Duties include receiving and providing information to the officers and other personnel. The Village uses a CAD system for dispatching our information. This can be a stressful position during high volume activity. Salary is $21.41 per hour. There are some benefits with this position. SEASONAL PARK STAFF POSITIONS
The award-winning Village of Romeoville Parks and Recreation Department seeks detail minded, energetic individuals for seasonal parks staff positions during the upcoming 2015 season. Responsibilities include: ball field preparation, string trimming, playground repair and various park maintenance tasks. Seasonal employment is from May until October, 35-40 hours per week. The Romeoville Recreation Department is currently seeking part-time experienced, highly motivated, energetic, and responsible gymnastics instructors. Ability to effectively communicate with participants, parents, and staff is crucial. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assist with the instruction, coaching, and evaluation of participants; daily instruction and spotting; work individually with participants to help them progress; assist with preparation and set-up of gymnastics equipment; assist with preparation of lesson plans; maintain accurate records; and follows all safety policies and procedures.
