With the recent commencement of construction activity on the Weber Road and I-55 Interchange project, the village recognizes the importance of effective signage as a key component for your business. We are working proactively with the County and IDOT on all aspects of way-finding signage.
In addition, many businesses located within the Weber Road corridor are having to remove and/or relocate existing signage from property acquired for right of way for the interchange project, and are in need of temporary signage during the project. To assist these businesses and property owners, the village has agreed to suspend fees for temporary signs, as well as other regulations with regard to temporary signs.
Business and property owners are still required to submit an application. The Community Development staff will work with you to expedite the review and approval process.
