Full Description

The Surface Ice Rescue program prepares first responders from all public safety disciplines to respond and carry out surface ice rescues. This class introduces students to topics including ice formation and hazards, equipment selection, medical considerations, and the application of proven rescue methods and techniques. This is a surface rescue program and does not involve diving.
