Full Description

This 40-hour course trains the rescuer in collapses dealing with wood-frame and light masonry structures. Students will receive classroom instruction in building construction, destructive forces, collapse patterns, collapse operations, incident command, and more. The remainder of the course involves hands-on skills and evolutions on light-frame collapses, upright and raker shoring, tunneling, search operations, incident command, and much, much more. 


 The state exam will be given at the end of the course.
