All dogs and cats are required by Village Ordinance to have a current Animal License. Animal Licenses are available for purchase at Romeoville Village Hall, 1050 W. Romeo Rd., Romeoville IL 60446. Village hall is open Monday - Friday 8-9 a.m. for seniors and those who are vulnerable, then 9-noon, and 2-5 p.m. for the general public. It is closed noon-2 for cleaning. • All dogs and cats six months or older are required by the State of Illinois to have a rabies tag. When purchasing animal tags, residents must present the rabies certificate as proof of rabies vaccination.
• The expiration date for every license is July 1 of each year. Each animal license is $4.
• There is no charge for pet tags for service animals and senior citizen’s pets.
