On Sept. 14th, create a masterpiece in front of the Romeoville Police Department with sidewalk chalk. This event is FREE and all ages are welcome! One sidewalk square per artist. Participants may have a helper, but only one extra person in their same age group, for a maximum of two people working on one square.
WHEN:
Saturday, September 14, 2024
9:00-11:00 a.m.
• 9:00-9:30 a.m. - Artists check in at the registration table at the Police Department, 1050 W. Romeo Rd.
• 9:30-10:30 a.m.- Artists create their masterpieces. Individuals are welcome to come view artists at work.
• 11:00 a.m. - Awards ceremony
REGISTRATION:
• Each artist must register for a space by clicking here.
• Registration is free and is open to all ages.
• Spaces are limited!
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
• There will be a contest and four winners for each age group will receive a ribbon and bragging rights.
• Ages 4-6
• Ages 7-9
• Ages 10-14
• Age 15 & up
• Chalk will be provided but it is encouraged to bring your own for more color options.
• Absolutely no paint of any kind is allowed.
• We encourage participants to bring a towel, sunscreen, hat, bottle of water and a snack.
