The Illinois Department of Transportation will begin road resurfacing on Route 53 from Belmont to Joliet Road on Tuesday, September 2. This project unfortunately comes with daily lane closures, so anticipate delays. Consider taking alternate routes or giving yourself extra time for your commute. Road work is anticipated to be completed by the end of September. As always, please be mindful of workers as your pass through the construction zone.
