Keep in mind with extreme weather conditions during the summer months, that cooling centers are available at the Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Rd. , Fire Station #3, 698 Birch Dr. and White Oak Library, 201 W. Normantown Rd. If a cooling center is needed after 9:30 p.m. Monday-Friday or after 5:00 p.m. on the weekends, we ask residents to contact the Police Department at (815) 886-7219.
In addition to the above locations, White Oak Library at 201 W. Normantown Rd. is also a registered Will County Cooling Center during their business hours of Mon. – Thurs. 10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.; Fri. – Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
