Prior to the first concert of the season, Mayor John Noak, elected officials, and other village staff officially opened the Deer Crossing Park concession stand and restroom facility.

“This new building puts the finishing touches on a great outdoor venue,” said Mayor Noak.

The concessions are being handled by Fat Ricky’s and menu items include pizza, Italian sausage, popcorn, nachos, and other traditional standbys. These will be available during all Rockin’ the Ville concerts and Movies Under the Stars events at the Romeoville Toyota Pavilion. Customers will have the option to enjoy their snacks at their seat or dine at one of the new tables that have been installed. The restrooms will be open daily from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m., even when there is no event going on.

The sharp eyed park goer will also notice some changes to the playground area, which now has a turf surface. Upcoming Rockin’ the Ville and Movie Under the Stars dates include:

6/28: Rockin’ the Ville – One of the Boyzz (7 p.m.)
7/9: Movie Under the Stars – The Greatest Showman (8 p.m.)
7/12: Rockin’ the Ville – Back Country Roads (7 p.m.)

7/26: Rockin’ the Ville – Fletcher Rockwell (7 p.m.)
8/9: Rockin’ the Ville – Hair Band Night (7 p.m.)

8/23: Rockin’ the Ville – American English (7 p.m.)
