The Romeoville Fire Department is now accepting applications for part-time Firefighter/Paramedics and Firefighter/E.M.T.’s.
Romeoville is a combination 3-station municipal fire department about 25 miles southwest of Chicago. Part-time personnel work 12 or 24 hour shifts every third day. Benefits of the Romeoville Fire Dept. are:

E.M.T. applicants must be an Illinois certified Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) or have graduated from an approved BOF program. For Paramedic applicants, BOF certification is preferred but not required. All applicants must have a current valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) certification by the time of hire.
