[ARCHIVED] Construction set to Begin on New Animal Control Center

Animal Shelter

Harbour Contractors, Inc. has been awarded the contract for the new animal control center, which will begin construction in September. The new facility will be located on Anderson Drive, just one mile north from its current location.

“This new facility will be more suitable for the animals and easier for residents to access,” explained Mayor Noak. “We are thankful for the donations that came in for this project.”

The new animal control center will feature nine kennels, two of which are designed for larger dogs, and a separate space for cats. Each kennel has a door that grants access to an outdoor kennel as well as a larger dog run for additional exercise.

This project was made possible in part through donations from community and business partners.
