Malibu Bay Park, located on Princeton Ave & Sunset Point, is getting closer to its overhaul. Built in 1999, renovations are needed on the 19 year old playground to bring it up to standards.
“Romeoville’s numerous parks are a point of pride and we want to be sure they meet both Village and safety standards,” stated Mayor Noak.
The original design, which was approved by the Village Board in June, consists of improved drainage, new play equipment, pathways, a trellis, and extensive landscape enhancements. The plan also calls for the removal of outdated equipment, non-compliant ramps, and concrete walkways.
