Since 2019, the Romeoville Veteran & Service Member Banner Program has recognized the accomplishments of the men and women of the six branches of the armed forces.
Orders are now being accepted for the 2026 Veteran & Service Member Banner Program. The program is a way to remember, honor, or thank a veteran in your life with a 24” x 62” double-sided vinyl banner that will be displayed on the light poles in the community.
Two locations are now available:
• Village Hall grounds - banners will hang from May-Nov. for $50 and $25 for renewal banners.
• Montrose Dr. - banners will hang from May-April for $100 and $50 for renewal banners.
First time applicants will get precedence in the program. Part of the proceeds of this program will go towards the Veterans Commission scholarship fund as well as paying for veterans’ assistance programs. To qualify for the program, the veteran must be a current resident of Romeoville or, if deceased, had previously lived in Romeoville.
