The purpose of this program is to encourage property owners and businesses to improve the appearance and functionality of their properties that will help keep the commercial areas attractive, stimulate economic activity and increase property values. Eligible improvements include facade improvements, landscaping, signage, and other enhancements.
Eligible Locations:
All commercial properties within the Downtown or Normantown Road TIF Districts, which includes:
• Uptown Square
• Route 53 Corridor
• Weber and Normantown Road area
Grant Types:
Matching Funds — up to 50% of eligible costs
Eligible Improvements:
• New signage
• Landscaping
• Facade improvements
• Decorative site lighting
• Paving/parking lot functionality
